Believe

In most cases I see, a tragedy happens before one believes in God. A near death experience, cancer, divorce, etc.. Why must we wait until we are faced with such problems before we turn to God? Why do we treat God as a back-up?

A lot of people wonder why God allows bad things to happen. I think I see why now...in good times, do we turn to Him? Do we count our blessings? More often than not, we forget to be grateful and demand for more. We don't see the bigger picture and persist in thinking that we are being neglected and forgotten when actually it's the other way round. We forget that a relationship doesn't work when only one side is giving.

What makes matters worse is when such bad things happen, we refuse to turn to Him, to pray, to plead for mercy, to ask for help, to believe. We turn away while we continue blaming Him for all the unfortunate happenings in our life.

Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed,".
John 20:29

Reasons why you should watch City Hall

Here's three reasons why you should watch City Hall:

1.  It's a Korean drama, wahahahahaha~ And we all know most Korean dramas are worth watching (laughs and tears included). ^^

Can't you tell that it's a comedy drama just from this picture?

2.  It stars Kim Sun Ah. And she joined a "beauty" pageant in this story, appeared in a swimsuit and did a catwalk as well. If you don't know what she looks like, this is she:

Pretty leh

Oops, wrong picture (that was before surgery)... I mean THIS is she:

Makes you wanna watch the drama more, huh? ;)

3.  The cast did a special dance during their epic finale:

There are many more reasons but I think this three is the best. As an added plus, this show teaches us a lot about politics too, especially what goes on behind the scenes. Of course, it's more silly than normal and more dramatized lah although I think nothing can beat exploding a Mongolian model. Go on, I highly recommend this series. :D

Idiot girl and friend

If you want to make racially offensive comments, make sure the said race isn't directly connected to you and don't be so open about it because it's a really stupid act.

Being a racist isn't cool. I think if we want to overcome this and REALLY make 1Malaysia a reality, we should all make effort to stop from making such comments. And all races should start thinking of themselves as Malaysians first and whatever they are ethnically second.

Of course, national policies that are only favourable to a certain race should also be done away with.

Idiot lah her. And the friend who called a certain race a pig.

Thank God not my juniors.

Flying

I just read a friend's blog about her trip to Europe. I think it was a graduation trip, after she finished her degree. How nice right? To be given the gift to travel as a graduation present. Recently another friend's brother went to Korea on an open ticket after he finished his high school education. (O_O) So nice right? Hehe~

It's been a long time since I thought about presents (for myself) because each year when the time comes for presents, I feel guilty for wanting because all year long there will be something big (and expensive) which I will need and my parents will have to get it for me. And because of that I won't ask for anything....nor get anything.

Well. That wasn't the reason why I wanted to write this, haha.

Reading about her travels make me want to do that so much...to have wings to fly... I do believe that I've been given wings, I just have to learn how to fly. That's the problem I've been having. I'm not sure how much progress I've done with flying. Though, it would help to know where I would fly to. :)

I'm really putting a lot of hope into applications. Maybe, hopefully, I'll be able to go somewhere next year to begin another adventure. I'm not too sure about Japan, maybe Europe...Korea? Haha, although I would very much like to go there, I can't figure out what I would like to do there. Marine and conservation doesn't seem to be a big thing in Korea. :p

If I still end up in some other state/federal territory in Malaysia, let's all laugh okay? *LoL*

My England isn't so powderful after all

I'm very angry and frustrated now. GAARGH!

IELTS listening, reading and writing went okay besides the fact that I think I just blah-ed for task 2 in writing (because I didn't really know what to say and I needed 250 words in my essay). But speaking!

SPEAKING!

OMFG I WANNA KILL MYSELF NOW CAN! (Mentally of course)

I ran out of things to say during the second part where we were given a topic and have to talk about it for 1-2 minutes. BLOODY! How can I run out of things to say?!?! I'm so angry with myself. :(

But I'm also annoyed with how the oral exam was conducted.
  • It was not reflective of a normal conversation. Normal conversations mostly go like this: you ask a question, I answer, I probably will ask a question in return, you answer but most importantly BOTH SIDES strive to keep the conversation going. What I experienced just now was a ONE SIDED conversation akin to talking to a socially awkward person who is possibly mentally retarded.
  • The 1-2 minutes topic was so unimaginative! I was asked to talk about my favourite subject in school. Like a speech. And I only have one minute to prepare. HAIH! What is this! I quote Kristen, "Boring~ No wonder run out of things to talk about,". For one thing, I have no idea what you want to know. Normal CONVERSATIONS (notice the emphasis) would require some questions to prompt me along the topic so that I can talk as much and as interestingly as you want.
I seriously don't like how the session was conducted. The examiner was nice BUT so...unhelpful! Perhaps it's because she's suppose to be like that but honestly, for such tests to be conducted, shouldn't it try to reflect or emulate how conversations are like in real life? THEN CAN SEE HOW POWDERFUL MY ENGLAND IS LAH.

Dunno if still can get the band I want or not. *Sobs*

    Tomorrow

    Also known as "self torture"

The results have to be worth RM550 or I'm gonna cry.

Faster pray for me! Not just for the test but for the scholarship I am applying for also. :)
